Staff are always so friendly and caring. Would highly recommend. They are all very talented. Poppy has done a couple surgeries for my dog and is always so knowledgeable and caring. Would go anywhere else

The vets at this practice have looked after my dogs for many years and the care we have received has been second to none. They really are the best.

Updated Edit: The practice manager has since replied, describing this as a “mistake” and explaining that the staff member involved has worked there for some time and feels bad about what happened. While I acknowledge the response, I do not feel it adequately reflects the seriousness of being repeatedly misgendered after correction. At that point, it ceases to be a simple mistake and becomes a conscious choice, and one that the practice has effectively allowed. I am happy to provide copies of my written complaint and the practice’s response if required, in the interests of transparency. I am sharing this so that prospective clients can make an informed decision. I have consistently said that the vets themselves are good at what they do; however, my experience with reception staff left me with no confidence in how concerns are handled or how respect is maintained in client interactions. Original Submission: I have been a customer of this practice for around two years and was extremely disappointed by my recent experience. During a phone call, a member of staff referred to me as “a man”. This was incorrect and distressing. I am a woman, and my records have never listed “Mr” or any male title. I am also a transgender woman, which the practice is already aware of. When I tried to raise this and explain my original issue, the staff member repeatedly spoke over me. I had to ask three times for her to stop interrupting so I could speak. Instead of being listened to, I felt dismissed and talked down to. I do not expect to be misgendered, spoken over, or treated with hostility by staff, especially as a long-standing customer. This interaction caused unnecessary distress and left me with no confidence in how this practice handles customer concerns or respectful communication. I hope the practice reflects seriously on staff conduct and training, particularly around equality, professionalism, and basic respect for clients.

Love them, fully knowledgeable, friendly, very caring, follow up calls on your pet progress, very open about problems that occurred and listen to concerns. Good advise about feeding cats and behaviour management. Clearly put welfare of your pet first!
